KP/Steyn (Freddie too inconsistent)

Root/Anderson (the first two, too condition dependent, Root is a factor everywhere bar struggles in Aus which he'll fix, I've went indepth on why I think Anderson smokes Ashwin/Jadeja away)

Kumble makes it interesting...... I was thinking more in the line of Umesh Yadav or Umar Gul..... Will probably still take Imran/Sobers though now much closer

I would take Ponting/Warne over Kallis/Miller.

I just think Warne is incredibly hard to replace even though the latter give more options.

Sobers/Imran, do think an average team would like to have players that can offer more skillset, specially when the two players are ATG in their primary discipline, but still think it's fairly close. In an ATG XI tho, it'd be Don no contest.

Miller/Kallis or Warne/Ponting?

Kallis in primary is arguably equal or better than Ponting, so Miller/Kallis pretty easily.

Botham/Kapil or Tendulkar/Underwood?

Botham/Kapil, just. Would chose the specialists if the bowler was a bit better (Laker/Grimmett/Verity would do ig)

Flintoff/Pollock or KP/Steyn?

Flintoff/Pollock ig, though not very sure about this one.

Jadeja/Ashwin or Root/Anderson?

Ashwin is arguably equal to Anderson in primary, so AR's for the average team.

yeah, Steyn causes problem in that choice.

Yeah, Flintoff's output in tests is not impressive at all.

I think you can make the case collectively he is more valuable than KP. In fact might be an interesting poll

Flintoff? For an average team, yeah probably. But it's still close, and Steyn is a top 5 pacer.

Depends on what kind of lower order bat Pollock is replacing for me. Overall as a cricketer, definitely agree.
