Do they? Miller’s low workload is often a aticking point and Bedser as we know was the opposite of that. I’m confused as to why you would make a thread specifically talking about all red ball performances and then be surprised that people are mentioning the non test performances as a factor in their votes…

I was generally under the assumption that people think Miller is a better bowler ngl

They’ve not had a head to head poll and results my vary over time and depending on direct comparison etc. but in the bowlers poll last year at least, Miller ranked 38 and Bedser at 33.

Tests take priority of course but FC cricket was played by everyone in that era and it was a significant contribution to the health and growth of the game. That’s much less true when comparing modern players so much so I think it’s fine to just ignore non test FC records after 2000 or so.
