KW is not clear cut number 2. As mentioned above, he has been pretty meh away from home. I would certainly have Khawaja ahead of him. KW and Smith aren't far apart too although I'll have KW slightly ahead

Brook needs more games

Smith averages something like 45 since 2020 while Williamson 60
That avg is made on the back of bullying extremely weak bowling line ups at home.
KW this decade:
Away-
In Eng: 211 runs @38.15
In Ind: 42 runs @21
In SL: 138 runs @34.5
Didn't play in Aus and Sa.

At home:
Vs Aus: 77 runs @19.25
Vs Ind: 97 runs @32.33
Vs Eng: 537 runs @53.7

Credit for playing Eng well at home but that's about it really. Has bashed a lot of minnow or close to minnow level attacks at home and away. Basically whenever he's faced a good bowling line up he hasn't done well, but been Bradmanesque against the weak ones. Don't know if I can have him top 2 based on this.

Kane missed india tour. If he would have won it on himself it would have made

Kw has been dravidesque. Milking week attacks and missing against good ones. Atlest dravid has good knocks vs donald Ambrose and shoaib. Kane has been average vs boom Cummins and rabada

Dravid was great in Eng and Nz conditions. KW hasn't been great away from home in any single challenging condition. The only away country he avgs 40+ in this decade is Pakistan.

And pak has arguably worst attack in top 8 nations bar sl with out of form shaheen and inconsistent nassem along with flatest pitches in world.

If we're going off by pure base stats, Sundar is the best player of this decade too because he avgs 42.5 with the bat and 25.6 with the ball
