Archer very much is an idea and a promise from the 2019 Ashes. I guess this would be his last go, if he can be properly affective and deliver on even an ounce of the promise he displayed back in 2019, I guess he can stay as long as he's healthy. If not, it's probably time to move on from him.

Considering his most recent injury was an impact injury rather than a non-impact injury, and considering he had been a regular in the white-ball set-up and in the IPL for a while before that, I don’t think it’s quite last-chance saloon for Archer
