About 4 months ago I was in the nets and the ground was damp. After getting home I noticed that the toe of my cricket bat was swollen. I took good care of my bat and oiled the toe but it still happened. I've continued to play with it and I now have a toe gaurd on it. ive tried knocking in the toe with an old ball for 20 minutes but it didn't do much. Should i get a proper bat mallet and knock it in? Or sand it back?
Thanks
