The one stat I'd like to see would be balls faced.

I might be leading Red in that one in Four Dayers :P

But i think i'd have the worst strike rate in the top 20... maybe
Nope:

Towns 161 runs from 749 balls = 21.50
Iyer (Red) 134 runs from 530 balls = 25.28
Langley 155 runs from 568 balls = 27.29

Don't worry, we still love you :)

Ab-so-lutely stoked with my start to the FC season. But then there`s that pesky Collins... I just hope I can keep it up! Go Blues.

I think i've actually faced less balls than 10, in more innings:P but I haven't scored arun yet...so i don't have a strike rate ;)

Can't complain about my season so far:
Code:
[B]Matches Wickets Average SR Economy BBi[/B]
[COLOR=Navy][B]FC[/B][/COLOR]     3       16      17.31   35.62   2.92     5-91

[COLOR=Navy][B]OD[/B] [/COLOR]    3        8      13.25   20.25   3.93     4-29
Of course it helps to be able to come on to bowl after Nath and Travis have destroyed the top order. :)

I think this best demonstrates the effectiveness of our seam attack this season:

Strike Rates
Patrick - 38.36
Demeza - 39.74
Collins - 35.62
Fuller - 41.67

I don't think there's much doubt about that. We showed in the last FC game that we can match it with Green with the bat as well.

Here is the table after the first round.

Code:
**5D**
The Manuel Ramprakash Trophy
Team	Played	Won	Lost	Drawn	Tied	Bat	Bowl	Points
Green	4	3	0	1	0	10	11	67
Blue	4	3	0	1	0	6	12	64
Colts	4	2	2	0	0	6	12	46
Red	4	1	3	0	0	7	12	33
Black	4	0	4	0	0	6	12	18
Black is in a clear last position at the end of the first turn.

Edited then :)
Green is ontop after round one due to superior batting.

Blue	4	3	0	1	0	6	12	67 (incl 3 draw bonus)
Green	4	3	0	1	0	10	11	67
Colts	4	2	2	0	0	6	12	46
Red	4	1	3	0	0	7	12	33
Black	4	0	4	0	0	6	12	18
Black is in a clear last position at the end of the first turn.

Blue were awarded an additional 3 points in the draw against green as they batted the 4th innings and had an equal amount of bonus points for the game. (refer to county rules, as far as I am aware ... this is my understanding of it.) So they got 4 points for the draw, 3 bonus batting points, 3 bonus bowling points, and 3 bonus points in general, as green were rewarded 4 points for the draw, 4 bonus points for batting and 2 bonus points for bowling.

Blue sit equal with green on the top of the ladder, but sit "first" due to alphabetical'ism ;)
I hope you're right about the three point bonus thing, i'm not sure though...

38.1.4 If the scores are equal in a drawn match, the side batting in the fourth innings to score seven points plus any points scored in the first innings, and the opposing side to score four points plus any points scored in the first innings.
Sounds to me like you only get the three point bonus if the runs are equal at the end of the match, but you've still got wickets in hand (so it's still a draw, not a tie), e.g:

Green 300/10
Blue 300/10
Green 200/10
Blue 200/5

Match Drawn.

I think that's what they mean, not sure though.

I think we have the best pace attack this season.
Wright, Hancock, Thomas and McKern easily put up a fight against yourselves!

Code:
Player T O M Runs Wkts Avge Best wI wM
G.M. Thomas 2 62.3 5 192 10 19.20 4-54 0 0
C.D. McKern 2 90.0 17 275 14 19.64 4-49 0 0
N.R. Hancock 2 46.2 8 130 6 21.67 4-44 0 0
K.S. Wright 2 79.3 16 200 8 25.00 3-37 0 0
Bloody good if you ask me. :) And that's not even including Comley, who also has a bowling average under 20 (I think). If only our batting could put on as much pressure as our bowlers!
