    I agree here. IMO if panesar wants to do well WI he should bowl RtW (Round The Wicket) and pitch it at a good length on off-stump. This well open up the chance of LBW, and could force them to play on the leg-side, so if this happens I think the captain should set you good field.

    When bowling with spin, leggie or off. I always I have close in fielders, they never retrieve the ball, or catch it. Are they worth using?

    leg break but goes straight

    Are you talking about the slider, or the flipper? They're the only two I can think off. It can't be a top spinner, because the top spinner produces a little amount of legspin.

    Best way to turn a cricket ball

    I've had the same problem. Just try this. Bowl slower, and just try spinning as hard as you can, but not as too hard you hurt your wrist. Once you've got the accuracy down, work on spin, then speed. Thats what I did, and I can spin it quite far, with accuracy and speed, hope it helps.

    IMO, It could be either side of the argument, it could like your bowling on hard, bouncy wicket. You could be going for a high bouncer, and he does a backfoot defence, this could result in the ball coming to you if the batsmen plays the shot badly. You could miss the catch.
