Yeah, I don't get why Hosein has been continually overlooked for ODI's.

Holder needs to be in that side. I think he's mentioned before that it's time for him to play franchise cricket after turning down opportunities when he was captain. They probably have to go back to Brathwaite as there aren't any viable options to replace him as opener at the minute. King at 3...

As if things can't get worse, West Indies next test series is away to India.

Campbell - good delivery. Anderson - all at sea. King - ill thought attack shot.

Starc is unplayable with the pink ball.

    Who opens the batting?

*Official* Australia Tour of West Indies 2025

Yeah, but there is also some brainless batting going on with the West Indies. Braithwaite & Campbell wouldn't give you much confidence regardless of the tactics. The rest of the top 6 are all playing white-ball formats.

He obviously didn't watch Campbell's attempt in the 1st innings.

Heard them saying on commentary during the first test how Rayon Griffith was talking up the West Indies fielding.

John Campbell thankful as Chase makes up for it. Cam Green just has trouble driving.

He's wanting to play in the Olympics so he will be sticking around for sure.

I'm not so sure on this, I wouldn't rule it out but then I could still see him being there for the next BGT in 2027. Khawaja, Lyon and maybe Starc, could see them maybe moving on from Boland too.

*Official* Australia Tour of West Indies 2025

Isai Thorne and Johann Layne are young pacers, Layne is with the squad at the moment. Anderson Phillip might be the next cab off the rank, after that there is the likes of Marquino Mindley, Chemar Holder, Akeem Jordan. Not sure on Jason Holder's future in test cricket.

Evin Lewis is one of the T/20 franchise players I would've liked to have seen try his hand at test cricket.
