    Really just what type of batsman they are (classical, normal, brute, poor) in terms of the way they play their shots, any specialist fielding positions and what type of bowler, so if a spinner, do they bowl a lot of googlies or arm balls, if they are pace bowlers do they bowl outswing or inswing...

    Guys, something a bit different here. I am helping a programmer produce a computer simulation of test cricket. Its along the lines of the game you use for your leagues on this forum, but a lot more in depth and you can "watch" the action unfold ball by ball with TMS/cricinfo style commentary...
