Could definitely still hit 140-145 towards the end in short bursts. In 2011 1st Test at Centurion (Dec 15-17) Fernando pinged him on the helmet. When it was Fernando's turn to bat he was subjected to an over of 140-144kph short-pitched thank you notes . He was 36yrs old at that stage...

He was 32 in his last Test (2013)

Has there ever been any other test bowler still going at 90mph after 35?

It will also be interesting to see if they persist with the 4-man pace attack.

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

Definitely, although in 1995 vs England SA fielded the following 5-man attack (Think it was Polly's debut). Game was rained out and Schultz injured himself. Donald Schultz Pollock Matthews McMillian

He is still quick though, just seems to slow down more than say Rabada over the course of the day. Agree with the inexperience, he is still learning the nuances of fast bowling really.

India's pace attack is pretty decent..

This is excellent batting. More please.

Yes sure, but there is not much difference in skill level here. Let's consider a composite team: Markram Warner Amla Smith De Villiers Du Plessis De Kock Starc Rabada Lyon Hazelwood You still would consider at least 6 SA players here. Perhaps Philander for Starc on a lively deck.

Not sure why but I think RSA should smoke AUS if everything where to click for them in the batting department. Bowling is at least as good IMO.

Elgar Markram Amla De Villiers Du Plessis De Kock Mulder Philander Maharaj Rabada Morkel This can work

    South Africa team selection

Lets hope he is going to emulate Rabada, he certainly looks the part

    Kagiso Rabada

After 50 test matches Pollock was at 210 wickets at 19.86. He really was sensational until that point.
  15. M

    Kagiso Rabada

SA will probably end up with Steyn, Rabada & Donald as the all-time best trio. On a genuine green top replace any two with a young Pollock and Vern.
  16. M

    Kagiso Rabada

McGrath Hazlewood Gillespie Harris Johnson Clark Starc Cummins * should go up in the rankings like Rabada Lee/Kasper/Bichel
