    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

I'd also bet that if South Africa were defending 50 remaining with 9 down against New Zealand, they'd have let Chris Martin get his first ever test half ton to win it.

    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Then too, yes. I wonder what would happen if South Africa were playing England, one of them had ~50 left to chase and 5 wickets in hand.

    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Ah, it's back. 42 runs to go with 5 wickets in hand... if anyone can blow it from here, it's England, so there's that.

I'm in the United States. My options are Willow or nothing basically, but at least it only costs US$9.99 a month for their **** service. Well, either that or sailing the high seas if you know what I mean.

I'm old, but when I was a kid it was proper use of English to simply refer to a person with masculine pronouns or terms when the gender of the person in question was either unknown or irrelevant. Never saw anything wrong with that, and I'm a woman to boot.

Willow died. :( Their quality of service sucks but it's all I have here.

    Oh **** off rain.

Has India tried taking wickets? Are they stupid?

    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

A lot can still happen with 203 still to get for England, but not that I'm counting on it happening, especially when they drop catches like that one.

    England cheats by existing.

Breaking out a reverse sweep in a test match... that might have made a lot of people very angry about 20 years ago.

    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

England is at 87 for none as I type this, making them need 284 more to win.

    1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

There have been nearly 2,600 test matches ever played, and I'll round up to that number for the sake of the math, and there have been two tied tests, so... that makes it a 0.077% chance of a tie, perhaps? :P

Concussions are so sad with what they do to players. There was an ice hockey player too, Paul Kariya, who took a hard hit to the head (head shots were... basically legal back then) during the 2003 NHL finals, but came back to the game and scored an electrifying goal. The very sad part is that...

I liked Sébastien Chabal. That didn't mean I wanted him to win while playing for France though, I just liked the guy. Edit: a lot of that had to do with that one time a reporter asked him, "may I ask you a question in English?" His response: "no, we are in France, we speak French."

The Blackcaps are the "good guys" of international cricket to me, at least among the test-playing teams.

I mean, I'll go for them if they're playing against England, but that's about it. Other than that, I hope France loses at everything they ever play. For reference, although my family left when I was very young, I was born in "overseas France" and nobody likes them there.

I'm a bit mad about France for a vaguely similar reason. Go away, colonists.

I would guess that it's not so much supporting India as it is wanting to see England lose (and they just happen to be playing against India). I do this all the time in plenty things I watch. I didn't want the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup, but I wanted the Florida Panthers to lose.

Sounds like a normal summer of where I grew up.
