    English Domestic Season 2025

I've just looked at the Leeds globetrotters and seems like he might sneak in if they rest Brook and Crawley for a bit. Only have 5 other batsman excluding them 2 in Clark, Lawrence, Malan, Miller and Pepper. So Flintoff probs sneaks in at 6 if they aren't playing. If they are available he...

    English Domestic Season 2025

Nepotism Disgraceful and unfair on the player as he should be playing in the One Day Cup at this point in his career. Time in the middle more important than just giving his lad a financial lift. If he gets in the side at all for the Leeds crispackets. I'd be raging with Freddie if I was one...

*Official* Road to the 2025-26 Ashes

Not sustainable this in such a short series. Was the same in the Ashes in 2023. Probably contributed in part to Stokes injury problems.

    English Domestic Season 2025

Barely played for us this season. His contract expires end of the season. Feels like he might be weighing up his options now he's a fixture in the test side for SA.

    English Domestic Season 2025

We've got a fun situation where Bedingham isn't contracted to play and we've only been told today in the preview for tomorrows game. He isn't in a Hundred side or in South Africa white ball squad currently in Aus. Answers on a postcard why he's not in the squad

    Durham County Cricket Club

Bedingham not contracted to play the 50 over stuff So he's sitting on his arse for a month for seemingly no reason. As he's not in South Africa ODI/T20I squads touring Aus this month.

What we learned from the 5th Test

I like the positive way to look at it 😉

What we learned from the 5th Test

Despite 3 years of McCullum in charge Winning a series in New Zealand is the only improvement from a results perspective from the previous 2 coaches results.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

His dismissal is still a factor in the loss though. Denying that is also illogical. I don't blame him i'm just commenting that changed the chase in Indias favour.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

It was player of the summer as opposed to player of the series.

@GIMH from Brooks own mouth he wished he never played that shot.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Of course but I don't really understand how you can't make the point that Brook is in part to blame. As much as he's the reason we got as close as we did. I'm not saying Brook is to blame. Our catching is the biggest reason for the result. Broad was criticising Brook yesterday for the same thing.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Or you're being equally obtuse and taking a different singular point of view. As always these things are far more nuanced. You're coming at it from a positive starting point others a more negative one.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

England only got themselves to blame. 2-2 a fair result

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Indeed but he did all the right things after lunch. Got to his hundred and went kamikaze mode again. He opened the door and we struggled afterwards The two things can both happen that Brook got us to this position for two different reasons. The good and the bad.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Well England have ****ed this up royally All started with Brook 301/3 to 357/9

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

That is one of the worst decisions I've ever seen

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Woeful batting effort by Smith in both innings. Disgraceful in fact
