Peak Starc with pink ball vs pre back injury Waqar with reverse swing

A batsman with a good technique would find which bowler more challenging to face? Not comparing bowlers here, the answer is obvious. More like a comparison between their peak modes.

Dravid's 2011 England tour vs Sanga's 2006 New Zealand tour

Yes, thats correct. But 87 mph is the golden spot, anything faster than that and it gets more difficult to achieve big swing. Edit: Just had a look at the SL tour of NZ in 2006, and it was a 2 test series only. Besides the highest wicket takers were Murali and Vettori, haven't watched the...

Dravid's 2011 England tour vs Sanga's 2006 New Zealand tour

Dravid 2011 UK tour. Those duke balls swung like crazy. Praveen Kumar was getting batsmen beaten for movement at 74 mph and took 15 wickets in 3 tests, now imagine facing Broad-Anderson-Bresnan who averaged 87 mph in that series.

Javagal Srinath vs. Mohd Siraj – the better test bowler

Nah, Shami is far superior to Srinath and on par with Zak. Only behind Bumrah

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Cummins is already a nice guy (but bowls fast) and is close to the extreme end of humility spectrum. If Brook tries to be adventurous, he might actually end up pissing off Cummins who will unleash fury in return.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Not necessarily, there are televisions in restaurants showing test matches irrespective of whether the customers are watching the game or not. Some random fan out of nowhere in the middle will shriek - "C'mon Pant!!! Aur maar saale ko!! Dho daalo uss spinner ko"

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Bumrah 3 games 14 wickets @26.00 A typical Indian parent reaction - "What is this beta? You are not studying hard enough? See, because of your complacency your bowling average is coming close to 20"

You don't choose bazball. Bazball choses you.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Siraj also seems to be one who doesnt do gym, he looks more like a marathoner (maybe the reason why he was fit enough to bowl in all 5 tests?)

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Bumrah is so zen that his vibes bring tranquility to the dressing room (affecting Siraj in the wrong way by dampening his mercurial-ness)

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Whats with saving test cricket all the time? The format needs to get its stuff sorted out and stop being a damsel in distress

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

He would have been in "Deep" trouble if India lost this.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

    90 mph? Is that accurate?

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Credit to NZ actually even though India just went through the motions in that series for whatever reason. NZ was really the last team to be considered worthy of winning a test series in India, the fact that they achieved it speaks a lot about the change in their mindset.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

What atmosphere? It's always "blue" in CW irrespective of posting quality.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Bumrah is the next Tendulkar now.. His fifers never win games like Tendulkar's 100s

India should change home pitch conditions

I'd rather go with those 90s style abrasive wickets. Bumrah will get a lot of reverse on those, like he did against England last year.

5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

No, England's game to lose. The damage was done by Brook and Root.

Smith vs Lara vs Viv - Who has had the best god mode?

Smith is easily the least watchable of the three. However, he leads when it comes to accumulating runs. He wouldn't psychologically harm the bowler but instead would score useful runs without worrying about boundaries and gets the job done.
