*Official* Sri Lanka in South Africa 2011/12

At least this time they went directly to the live action after the news- rather than showing it from the start and pretending its live when everyone knows the score already. Can't be bothered to watch when they do that.

So the curse of Durban strikes again..... Great win for Sri Lanka. Outplayed SA all around and was a well deserved victory. Very disappointing from SA. I don't think they will make too many changes for CT though. Alviro in for Prince and Philander replacing either De Lange or Morkel.

Its possible. Just feel even if SL are rolled over for say 120, 300 will be a very tough chase. SA batting has looked shaky lately and for some inexplicable reason they tend to save their worst for Durban. Also Herath looks like he could trouble SA in the 4th innings.

Hard to see a way back for SA in this test. Its a cool overcast morning here in Durban today so at least the bowling conditions will be in their favor. As much as I would like to see SA stage a comeback and win, I think a loss against the Sri Lankans will finally jolt the selectors into...

    Boxing Day Memories

Steyn/Duminy 180 run partnership on Day 3 of the '08 Boxing Day test was quite memorable. Went a long way in dragging SA back into that match when they seemed certain to concede a big first innings deficit. Duminy was being touted as the next big thing after that series win. Pity he hasn't...

Thanks Jan and Quaggas- Yeah, big fan of Amla. Awesome batsman and seems like a genuinely nice guy. He is actually from the same small, fairly anonymous town that I'm from- so his success in international cricket is just that bit more satisfying to see. As you can imagine, he is a big local...

I agree that it would be harsh to drop Morkel for Tsotsobe. Probably more of a likely option to bring in either Tsotsobe/De Lange in the 3rd test if SA go 2-0 up in Durban.

I'm Len. I'm 24 and I'm from South Africa. I've been watching cricket more or less since the 92 world cup. I haven't played cricket other then a bit of backyard cricket. I support South Africa through every win, loss and jaw-dropping World Cup exit. Also a bit of a fan of England. I look...
