Where would you bat Ponting ?

Where would you bat Ponting ?

Of course it does. However, Hussey has got the job done and probably cemented his place if he wishes to continue. Some of the others have failed and been dropped. Hauritz, North. Where would you bat Ponting ?

You seem to think I have this opinion only of Ponting. If you are not in form and remain so for extended periods, it is time to go back to your roots and get some form. If that doesn't happen maybe you are passed it. The public had dropped Hussey prior to the first test and we would probably...

Where would you bat Ponting ?

One would think a test batsman should be able to play test bowlers. Agreed, the ball moved around in Perth (Australia won that one), and Ponting failed. Where would you bat Ponting ?

Maybe he has, but this series he's been lucky to reach double figures (except in second innings when it didn't count). I would be dropped from my club team with the form he's in.

Where would you bat Ponting ?

He has technique which you try and coach out of 12 year olds. Tie a brick to his back foot to stop him walking into the shot.

Where would you bat Ponting ?

Out of sorts, out of form Bat at number 3 for Tasmania. Let's forget this series and get some backbone in the team. Pretty boys with too much money don't stand up when put under pump.
