Best Test XI from each nation (that you have seen)

That would be justified. I also thought of playing G Pollock at three and Kallis at 4 because that is the place Kallis bats currently.

    Strongest Squad on paper?

I really think Albie Morkel would have gave the SA team just a little advantage. We saw Albie bat in IPL and I think he is doing wonderful in Indian conditions. On paper... the best teams is probably India and Australia. Yeah I know the Aussies choked in the Ashes but they mangled England in the...

Am I too old to play Kallisball?

Come on guys. Stay on the topic. To answer your question. My dad is nearly 50 and he still plays cricket with us. And not just the usual mug around in the backyard!! He can bowl some decent off-spinners and can frustrate you with the bat. Anyway to get back to the topic, if my dad could do it...

    Best All-Rounder ever

:-O Gimme a break. Harbhajan Singh. Given he scored 2 Test centuries lately but it would be a bit far fetched to classify him as a all-rounder. He is too inconsistent too really play a all-rounders role. AND DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST ALL-ROUNDER EVER!!!

    Best All-Rounder ever

Even Tendulkar and Ponting. He has now scored the second highest amount of Test centuries EVER although he is still 12 behind Tendulkar's 51 centuries.

Is it too early to declare Dale Steyn as an all-time great?

Dale Steyn definitely made his mark on world cricket. My opinion is that you should try and classify a player as an ATG after his retirement. I mean Steyn is 27 and there can still happen a lot of things in his career. If he retires now, I am 90% sure that he will be classified as an ATG

    Record or Result

You can see it another way. A win might get the team on top of the ICC-rankings. A record can always be broken another day but results can be critical. What about the knockout stages in the CW. I believe the team is more important than the individual.

    World XI Lefties

No Graeme Smith in ODI's? I would rather put Strauss in place of Gambhir in the Tests and then put Smith in both teams. I don't think Strauss belongs in the ODI's. I would rather replace Benn in the Tests with Paul Harris and in the ODI's with Roelof van der Merwe.
