*Official* Quarter Final 4 - Sri Lanka v England

OK...., I play in the lowest possible competition..., in HOLLAND! And even we run more sensibly! What is so hard to understand about: "run the first one hard and look for the 2nd?"

    That looked catchable!

*Official* Quarter Final 3 - New Zealand v South Africa

What I was thinking too. Even worse: If Botha, Peterson, Morkel, Steyn & Imran Tahir are considered your 5 bowlers, we can add Kallis, Duminy and Du Plessis. That's 8 bowlers! Du Plessis won't get too many overs, but still. Imho, SA are a batsman short!

*Official* Quarter Final 2 - India v Australia

Just tuning in! That is some timely return to form by Punter (98* now)! How did he sail? Good old classic Ponting or did he ride his luck? Anyway: good work.

Benn out, Russell out and Rampaul in....

I agree! However, neither of those matches are more than 70-30, or even 60-40. Whatever happens, nothing will be considered an upsetting surprise.

Ian Chappell is one annoying old bugger

Not so sure. Many people, including me, do like commentary with a strong personal bite. Yet, this was clearly crossing the line.

    *Official* Match 41 - Kenya v Zimbabwe

Haven't seen enough of Harper, so I can't judge. But Da Silva has been horrible..... Does anyone know what was on when he refused to turn back his LBW-decision, when Wilson (Ireland - West Indies) was playing a shot and hit outside off? Did he explain why he acted as he did? On a side note...

    *Official* Match 32 - Bangladesh v Netherlands

What a hopelessly self-destructing innings. Howmany batsmen actually did get out as the result of good bowling????

    *Official* Match 15 - England v Ireland

A run-a-ball for two more overs with 4 wickets in hand? That should be realistic, right?

    *Official* Match 15 - England v Ireland

A run out...... Of course, how could it not be????

    *Official* Match 15 - England v Ireland

And with that ton, it is now Ireland's game to lose. I wouldn't be too surprised if the pressure will kill it for them. Let's hope for some more Irish luck!

    *Official* Match 15 - England v Ireland

apparantly, it is Hayden's 66 ball century, considering WC 100s. Not suprprisingly, Afridi holds the overall ODI record (37 balls).

    *Official* Match 15 - England v Ireland

So, what is the fastest 100 in ODIs and/or WCs? UNBELIEVABLE!

    *Official* Match 11 - India v England

Pakistan winning the WC comes to mind.... I figured the road to the quarter finals is rather long. There is quite some time left to get into form! And, as important form may be, the result matters less. If either side wins with the slimmest of margins, there is no harm done for the other team...

*Official* Match 13 - Netherlands v West Indies

Onbeforehand, I figured we had to beat either England or WI, to have a chance to advance. I don't think we stand a chance against either India or SA.... The WI attack is probably not good enough to restrict the Dutch to a typical minnow score of 150 or less. We have a decent batting line-up, so...

    *Official* Match 11 - India v England

Isn't this game overhyped? In the end it will probably prove to be utterly unimportant....

    *Official* Match 9 - Bangladesh v Ireland

Do I give myself false hopes when I think the Dutch could actually beat both these teams?
