    Neither Kallis nor Sobers are worldclass bowlers. You know that Murali is not as effective as Miller in the early parts of games and on pace or green decks, or in certain places like Australia. This is what we were trying to argue why Miller should be included. It gives more worldclass options...

    I agree, Kallis at 6 was a waste which I argued and folks here we're insisting it doesn't matter. I think Smith could have been at 6.

    ...used in situations like second new ball, roughing up bats with the shorter one, getting tails out, etc. And he won't replace Murali overs but will be used when a spinner is not optimal. Early days of tests and pace friendly tracks. Just dont be so bummed just because Kallis couldn't make it.

    Why not just do the same vote again? The race is tight. This is sort of the issue I have with these votes. There can be a drop off in second rounds.

    Yeah they wouldn't be as effective in firs thalf of games and YOU yourself have admitted as much. Kallis the dog over bowler isn't really needed. Why suffice with sufficient bowling when you can have the best attack for all surfaces imaginable?

    Fuller, if I may, Barnes is practically a second spin option with Murali. Hence Miller offers something new and different to the attack. I agree with you that Kallis is superfluous with Hammond. Please do reconsider.
