    Garry sobers vs Kallis

    Sobers/S. Pollock vs Hadlee/Kallis

Thought of having Miller instead of Pollock, but that skews things as he's a worse bowler and better batsman for mine, so less of a like for like comparison. So which core of batting/bowling allrounder would you choose to start off a draft?

Both were outstanding batsmen, and enough has been written about their similarities and also their differences, in style and output as all-rounders. Both Sobers and Kallis would have played...

Kallis vs Sobers, Donald vs Steyn, Trott vs Pollock

I want to understand the logic as to why people rate Sobers way higher than Kallis as an all-rounder, and Donald way higher than Steyn, and why Graeme Pollock is rated so high when he didn't achieve anything Jonathan Trott or Michael Hussey didn't achieve at more or less the same number of...

    Kallis Vs Sobers

Who was the better allrounder? For me it is Kallis considering he has a better bowling record overall, and a batting record comparable to Sobers at the time both played equal number of matches (ie 93) Anyway I am prepared to argue further, but let me see the response to this thread here.
