Nice to see that Locky is fit again and playing in the hundred. Hopefully he can keep himself fit for long enough to participate in next year's T20 World Cup. Will probably be his last chance to have a tilt at some silverware.

John Reid? Second time today I've seen that ambiguity. First was in a list of most tons for NZ on Facebook. It's clearly John R Reid but nevertheless I think it should be specified. The facebook post was worse as only one 'John Reid' was listed but both R and F had six tons in Tests.

I saw this from the insta post, where at least they had his photo and stats. It's John R Reid ofc, but they had mentioned him as John Reid too

If the rumours are to be believed, Wells was quite frustrated with how conservative Stead tended to be with selections. If true, you wonder whether the shape of the squad/playing XI for the recent Zim tour might've been the final straw for him.

Yeah, he's quite a free-thinking, intelligent, lets not go paint by numbers guy and I'm certain Stead wore that down. However, I think the timing is purely around his legal future.
