We've signed Codi Yusuf, a SA bowler who is available for the next six rounds of the CC including tomorrow, and the Vitality Blast.

Don't know much about him tbh.

92 First Class wickets at 28.4 in 30 matches according to Cricinfo. Very little information out about him, obviously I hope he hits the ground running but whatever happens the club should be applauded for filling the void.

Given the length of the deal it appears Doggett is done, wish him the best regarding his recovery, disappointing not to have seen more from him.

The bowling corps is a massive concern though, Raine is the only one so far who I can give any credit to, Potts has been so poor compared to what we’ve become accustomed to and everyone else seemingly can’t stay fit. After the Worcester game, we’ve got 10 games left and I don’t think it’s too early to be concerned about relegation irrespective of what happens this week given our first four fixtures probably represent the ‘easiest’ portion of the season.

***EDIT***

I’ve just read the press release and this lad is going to be second overseas ALONGSIDE Doggett!! I jumped the gun, but it’s much better news than anticipated this. No squadlist for tomorrow but perhaps (here’s hoping) Doggett was held out of Day 4 against Yorkshire as a precaution and he’s good to go…

WTF?

Now we've signed Jake Ball and Jack Blatherwick on loan for the next two games.

Are thing really this desperate?

If anyone is travelling down to Worcester tomorrow, take your whites just in case.

Questions have to be asked about why we have so many injuries, especially to bowlers. It even got to the stage in the Yorkshire game last week were we had a Gidman, a coach on as a sub fielder.

The way things are going he could be in the line up tomorrow.

Elsewhere there's a good finish in prospect for our 2nd xi.

After being made to follow on, we set Notts 240 to win and they are currently 141/8 needing another 99 with 2 wickets left.

Bit excessive: Don't think Ball, Blatherwick, Doggett, Killeen, Potts, Raine, Rhodes and Yusuf will all play. Do loan signings have to play? Or can they just be signed to cover for on the morning back spasms and end up having to carry drinks? I would guess maybe 4 of those seamers will be left out of the final 11.

Potts may be rested/withdrawn by the ECB. Doggett may still have problems with a sore foot. Drissell will only play of the pitch takes spin. Killeen has been doing well but I don't think he will get a game.

My hunch will be we will go with 4 quicks - Raine, Yusuf, Ball, Blatherwick with Rhodes and Ackermann making up the additional bowling options.

Blatherwick was surplus to Lancs when we loaned Turner for 2 games.
Or it can looked at as: Last week Lancs management thought they didn't have enough bowling cover so "had to" borrow Turner. This week they realise they have too many so can spare a bowler.

No consistency of thought, week to week?

Gay is injured. Disappointed they haven't given Killeen a chance.

How has Gay got injured? Christ, the season goes from bad to worse - we just cannot catch a break.

Got zero confidence in that bowling attack and it’s mental that the bookies haven’t cottoned onto it because they’ve still got us as short priced favourites.

As for me personally, it looks like my existence on the other place is over. Ban ended Monday but account has been disabled and all correspondence has been ignored by ‘the gaffer’.
