    If they had an injury to root or Brook in the ashes who would they call up. Would it be a youngster like haines cox or rew, or would they go experienced like airshow or laurence who they don't need to pick in the lions as they know what their about already?

    Touring lions seems a bit weaker but the last away match in Australia in March had Davies coles Flintoff tongue Bashir cook Pennington. Rew was also in the squad.

    Do they? The last lions match against India had haines, cox, rew, holden, gay, tongue, hill and woakes. That was in june.

    Imagine woakes faced a bouncer and couldn't get his arm up to defend and got hit in the head and taken to hospital. Cricket to the casuals or public who don't follow would be being slaughtered right now. The rule would probably have already been changed lol.

    Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

    I guess it's suspect for a lot of players though. I've seen videos of the raucous crowds in the carribean in the 80s or early 90s. I wouldn't fancy triggering viv or lara back then, especially if playing in Antigua or Trinidad.

    The 25 away from home could be suspect too as the umpires could be bias against him as the best visiting batsman. I guess my question is has anyone since the change of home umpires come close to 50 knocks without being lb.
