Me thinks India did a Harkiri. The batsmen did not play well. Period. We should not blame the wicket or toss. Sachin was too guarded. Not his natural game. It's pathetic to see the locals protesting over Ganguly's exclusion. Just because he is a Bengali, they support him blindly. This regionalism, though unavoidable, is India's undoing all these years. The next match this Friday should be a fantastic one. Eden Garden is one of the most spectacular grounds in India. I just hope the crowd does not behave as unruly as they have in the past. What is wrong with the BCCI(among other things)? Rain played spoilt sport in October 2003 and October 2004 at the same venue( vs NZ and AUS respectively). Do we have to have 3 more washouts before it dawns on them that Oct-Nov might not be a good time to host a match in Chennai? Mera Bharat...- Shastri Hai Hai

Smith's double standards I had the utmost respect for Smith before the start of the series, but was apalled by his double standards on the pitch. A day before the match, he said that the team was not affected by things such as pitch,toss, etc...- Shastri Hai Hai
