oops nope, was way wide of the mark. all i know it crashes when you mess with it. I rec its telling the game where the player fits in with other files. I doubt its of crucial importance, as regards to making an editor.

Hewo everyone. Long time no grrrrrrr! Tayyab - if you go back to around page 7 and start looking from there, you will find a lot of info concerning batting and allrounders. Get a pen and paper and mess around for a bit, you'll get the hang of it. It took me a little while once I got switched...

Hi guys. Posts are interesting. It seems that people are setting out to totally crack everything there is to crack about the game. Very ambitious! "Magpie" Editor looks kewl. Am impressed. Would be more impressed if it was tiger-striped and everytime you selected an option it went "grrrrrrrr"...

Oh the pain and suffering that ofsted's cause! I have looked into county allegiance, and am pretty sure that the unknown areas around salary and contracts aren't them...will look again, hopefully on Friday. If it isn't solved by then! I just boosted Pollock's stats and he starred in his first...

yeah i remember it being written now. ta. everything practically must be covered. So what offsets are left? I keep calling them offsteds. Bloody teaching. i'm going to turn the warwickshire team into a bunch of demi-gods and will see what happens. might give some players the crazy 8 and...

Kings Lynn v Exeter? Deery me. Is Steve Flack still up front for you lot? Anyways...Hick's average altered little when I changed the 0 to 8 and back again. Then I played yet again with 0 and he got an average of 70+ over the 7 summer tests. So - its a hard thing to test. I have no stomach for...

I changed Thorpe's 8 to an 0. His average in the 7 test matches changed from 39 to 19. Am about to change Hick's from 0 to 8. Mindset? Perhaps. But don't batsmen's preferences cover this anyway? Unless its a mental toughness stat or summat. I still think 8=more chance of having a test career...

I'm not sure I agree that offset 13 is for just "economy rate" If you scroll down the column, you will see that Ian Bell (him again!) has the highest rate of all. Yet I use him regularly as a 4th/5th bowler, and he is very successful, picking up two or three wickets most innings. His economy...

That's kewl but, going back on the topic, I cannot accept that in the batting offset, 0 means the same as 8. Everything is for a reason, right? It's interesting that, in the table, Vaughan, Butcher, Hussain, Thorpe and Stewart have 8s - and they are seen as more recognised test batsmen than...
