    8th Match - Afghanistan v England

    Not likely.

    8th Match - Afghanistan v England

This is unacceptable. England had made so much progress in LOI post 2015 and reached a peak with the WC, T20WC etc. The gameplan has fallen into disarray.

    8th Match - Afghanistan v England

This is getting a bit worrisome. 😄

    5th Match - India v Pakistan

I agree fully with the article on cricinfo. Pakistan's cricket is in terminal decline. I am not happy to write that. Maybe, maybe, they can turn it around via some young blood, but I am not optimistic.

    7th Match - Australia v South Africa

Have to think Aussies will be the strong faves.

    5th Match - India v Pakistan

These P V I games have become one sided. It's been this way for 15 years. Pakistan have fallen too far behind the top sides. The talent has dried up. This same group of players have amounted to nothing for a decade.

    4th Match - Australia v England

Unbelievably, England might fluffy this up. Jofra dropped a sitter.

    India all time ODI XI

That top 3 is crazy. Batting has depth. Bowling is very good but obviously not in the top bracket. Well led by MS.

    India all time ODI XI

SRT Rohit Virat Ganguly Dravid Yuvraj MSD +* Dev Kumble Shami Bumrah I was thinking about this exact thing the other day at work. That's a powerpacked line up. Good pace bowling, a solid spinner, lots of bowling options, incredible top 7. Dravid is there as the insurance policy. I considered...

Would Botham make it to your England ATG XI?

Assuming OP was refering to tests, then yes, of course Beefy makes it.

Why is that still a thing? Champions Trophy

It's a fun, compact little tournament. I have no gripe with it.

    5th Match - India v Pakistan

I didn't have the stats at hand, so I checked for ODIs. It's 12-4 (1NR) since 2010. That's a hugely one sided run. It does imply that before 2010, Pakistan really did have the better of that rivalry as it is still ahead in overall H2H. India have been superb in recent times, Pakistan quite mediocre.

    5th Match - India v Pakistan

Pakistan v India has not been much of a rivalry over the last decade or so. It's been very one sided.

Group A - Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan

This group has an inevitable feeling to it. Pakistan just don't have the firepower on these flat decks. Bangladesh are also far behind the curve. I hope it's not so straight forward and exciting events occur, but it seems inevitable.

    4th Match - Australia v England

These flat pitches will result in huge scores. The ground looks great though.
