Finch looked thick in that shot

*Official* Australia v England post-Ashes ODI series

The commentary seems even more cliche-esque today, and KP sounds like he's at a bad job interview.

Are England going to present Ali with a participation medal at the conclusion of the series?

Broad has always frustratingly been like that, gets a wicket and seems to fire up and has the ball whistling down and looks deadly, only to go back to bowling dross a few overs later. Always feel if he could maintain a bit of an intensity about him he'd be more consistently dangerous.

That was the most English thing this series.

***Official*** 3rd Test at the WACA

But the gap between the two attacks in Aussie conditions is far greater than it would be in English conditions. This was kinda to be expected though, all bowling low 130's on a flat deck.

The pessimism was pumping through my veins after the first two tests and I let it all rush to my head.

I live being proved wrong and exposing myself as the **** cricket analyst that I am. But I am genuinely happy I'm wrong this time.

England to be all out for 260 and won't be able to take 10 first innings wickets. Will quote this in a couple of days.

Right, if England don't come out and at least try and make a bit of a statement or whatever cricket cliche you want to use, then send them all home. Out of nothing we have a sniff, a tiny one but still a sniff, no body now wants to see a clueless 180 all out.

Cool, so we've had our session of looking absolutely lethal when the conditions suit us, now back to bowling innocuously for the rest of the series.

I can't help but feel that whatever our seamers have done today that the Aussies can and will do the same with 10km/h more on it. It wasn't overly special bowling, it was just trying to hit a good spot at low to mid 130's. If Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood can emulate some sort of similar plan...

Is Chris Gayle some sort of perverted misogynist or can everyone just settle down?

Yeah I know, my very first words a couple of posts ago were "Chris Gayle was wrong"' or something to that affect cbf checking actual wording. I'm simply referring to the reaction of certain people and the presumption of Mel's feelings on the incident. I'm impartial - or maybe I'm not if I said...

I understand that there is a larger problem, but I'm relating to this specific incident and people stating how Mel must feel. It seems people are placing heavier weighting on 3rd party journalist information over than what she's actually saying.
