    Wasim vs McGrath vs Garner

Wasim > McGrath > Garner Putting Wasim above McGrath because he played a lot more cricket and never showed any real dip in form. Also the Kookaburra is slightly more difficult ball to master than Duke and Wasim could make it talk even outside Australia.

Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

Yeah and he really used it a lot. He would judge the line length and use his pads instead of playing a risky shot. Obviously, this technique was not as feasible abroad as in subcontinent and he should've adjusted, but that is why I rate Gavaskar as a more technically sound player than him.

Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

Yes, there is a skew but it's not entirely due to biased umpiring either way. Miandad would often just pad the ball when he wasn't getting run or was being defensive, there is a clip of Gavaskar mentioning this about Miandad himself. But the interpretation of giving lbw's in this situation...

Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

It is enough for me. As I've said I don't see any modern batsman getting only one lbw in 15 tests whether home or away in modern cricket.

Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

Still a long enough time frame and sample size where a modern batter would be given lbw much more times due to better umpiring and DRS.

Is Javed Miandad an ATG test batsman?

Not that uncommon in pre-nuetral empires era. Bill Lawry was never given lbw in a test in Australia in 30 odd tests in his entire career ~10 yrs. Gavaskar was only given lbw once in India during first 9 years of his career.
