    Official Rugby Thread

Happy for you @ripper868 - watching the highlights when waking up this morning and SA going 22-0 up I thought they were going to put a record score on the Wallabies. Incredible come back - is this the Wallabies greatest performance since XXXX ? As much as I don't want the All Blacks to lose the...

Can Test Matches Get Even Better?

https://www.cricketweb.net/can-test-matches-get-even-better/ Guest writer Tony Wadsworth has been pondering some ideas he has formed for Test matches about imposing a maximum number of overs to be received by both sides in their first innings. Here he puts these to the test, before outlining...

*Official* New Zealand in Zimbabwe 2025 (Tests)

To be fair as well, especially given the cricket calendar it's a pretty pointless exercise scheduling Tests against Zimbabwe in the first place. It doesn't do them any good being absolutely thrashed like this. Send a NZ A team or NZ Development team, or have Zimbabwe come over during the NZ...

100% , I want to see them tick over 1,000 which they have more than enough time to get to.

Hoping they bat until tea on Day 4 and finish 1002/7 dec. Conway 400 odd, Rachin 300 odd.

What about with the Aussies, their bowlers at least in recent times seem to have a fantastic injury record. They seem to be doing something right. Perhaps its to do with their main seam attack not playing a lot of T20 and ODI series and saving them for Tests and ICC events. I guess NZ don't have...

*Official* New Zealand in Zimbabwe 2025 (Tests)

Even with the team I listed, I can't see how we'd lose to Zimbabwe, and even if we did, it's pretty meaningless given its outside the WTC. That's my opinion anyway along with don't risk injuries and give the whole squad a game.

I'd go with the below, don't risk injury to Henry or Latham. Conway Young Rachin Mitchell Blundell Santner Foulkes Duffy Fisher Lister Patel

    Lions tour 2025

After these hard fought three tests, maybe the Wallabies can be a threat for the Bledisloe Cup. I think they surprised a lot of fans in this Lions series by how good they were, certainly did me. A real shame Schmidt isn't staying on.
