    Help! Very sore upper back.

So the cricket season is over where I am and I got through the season well and bowled very well (by my standards) but now I have a very sore upper back. I bowled a ball last week and my back was agony then let it rest for a few days and then bowled again and again it was agony. Luckily the...

    New Zealand?

Quite bored and just wondering. Why have New Zealand not played any cricket since the World Cup? It feels like an age ago.

World number one? Then stop taking our players!

Stirlings hundred v Pakistan shows that he can score big against good sides which had bowlers like Umar Gul ans Sajeed Ajmal playing. The reason Morgan was picked for England was because of his impressive form for Ireland so give Stirling time and England will be knocking on the door. Dockrell...

World number one? Then stop taking our players!

Would you guys not rather have local English players in your team? Rather than picking other players from different countries? Next it will be Dockrell and then Stirling.

World number one? Then stop taking our players!

England Lions call up Rankin | Setanta Plenty of good young bowlers in England. Go find them instead of taking one of ours.! Disgraceful. He is Irish. Why can't England play just ENGLISH players!

    *Official* Pakistan in Ireland

Not looking too good from what I hear. Not at the game as I have exams but where I am it is dry and there has been no rain and 20 miles down the road it seems to be pouring. Was scheduled for a 1pm start - 43 overs then 41 over start at 1.50 but rain back on I think.

    *Official* Pakistan in Ireland

When you put it that way you are absolutely correct. There are more imports playing in the South but still some very good local cricketers.

    *Official* Pakistan in Ireland

Maybe but cricket in the south is just as good if not better. No NCU winners of the Irish cup in the last 10 years and only 2 North West winners. The rest are all from the south.

    *Official* Pakistan in Ireland

Dockrell has a shoulder injury I think but I may be wrong. He is injured though. Can't see McDonnell getting in but it is good to see a player breaking into the squad based on club form.

    *Official* Pakistan in Ireland

McDonnell is a very good player. Has been scoring runs for Strabane regularly. All local fixtures on the weekend of the Pakistan games have been called off so it shows just how much they want to get a big crowd at these games. It has caused mayhem to the fixtures over here though.

    Obus Pienaar!

He is a pretty quick bowler. Not the sort of guy who would bowl a team out but is very economical. He is perfect to have bowling at the death. Today he scored 135 (of around 75 balls) and got 12 sixes. Bowled very well again but without reward.

    Obus Pienaar!

Last match on Saturday he got 81 from 45 balls on a very uneven surface against Instonians (Belfast club). Tricky wicket where we got 261 (something like that). Next up tomorrow against YMCA (Dublin Club) in the Irish Cup.

    Obus Pienaar!

Jeez sorry. I'm only new to the forum. It says talk everything you have to say about cricket. Well this is something I have to say about cricket. I won't post about an individual if it is totally unacceptable.

    Obus Pienaar!

Second competitive match and he hit a remarkable 244 of 111 balls including 22 sixes and 13 fours as we racked up a massive 374. unbelievable innings.

    Obus Pienaar!

This guy was in great form at the end on the South African season and he has continued that. He is now overseas professional at Waringstown CC in Northern Ireland and he made his competitive debut for the club yesterday and was in sublime form with the bat. Played a couple of friendlies last...
