    I think Ben needs to rethink this part of Bazball where you drop loads of catches and bowl badly. It is an unorthodox strategy, which I like, but I’m not sure it has proven to be beneficial yet.

    This Bazball strategy of “taking several of your opponent’s key wickets cheaply during the first session of their innings” might seems superficially attractive. But you have to wonder whether it’s really good for test cricket…

    Meaningless and stupid cricket statistics

    I think stuff like this is really more of a neat factoid than a stat, meaningless or illuminating. I doubt anyone would suggest that this fact, in itself, says much about how good David Warner is or what kind of player he is.

    So the two key factors in the decline of these two teams that make their declines peculiarly similar were: I) Batting got worse Ii) Bowling got worse very illuminating, thanks.

    International Test Cricket

    I emailed Dan Thomas in the summer and he told me that the PayPal links at the top of the CricketGames website still work and offer the cheapest prices for the various registered versions of the game. I never actually bought it, though, so can’t vouch for that information myself.
