    *Official* England in West Indies

Make it down to one would I guess... I still don't see why we can't use all of Hawkeye. Surely a 99.9% sure hawkeye is better than guessing based on a projection...It doesn't look good if the projection comes up two minutes later that may have turned the decision. Definatly in the Sarwan case...

    *Official* England in West Indies

That was a no ball wasn't it? Although taking the referral rules into account - I'm not sure you can overturn the none no ball call. To be fair a great shout - my first impression was that it was well down leg. Is this what the referral system is for though? The decision was right don't get me...

    *Official* England in West Indies

Maybe without the responsibility of captaincy Vaughan may hit a return to form... The misguided tour party is being shown up though at the moment. 3 spinners... one replacement batsman. We've got two players backing up Panesar, and yet only Shah is backing up one to six. Shah comes in for Bell...

    *Official* England in West Indies

Can someone remind me why we are playing two spinners in the Windies? One thing I still cannot fathom is why Rashid was overlooked for the India series, and has now been picked for this one - we can't seriously be considering two spinners can we?

    A Must See !!

(This is a genuine video - just incase anyone is wondering). If anyone can find his parents number - there's room for an opening bat in England's ODI side... He hits a ball better than any England opener I've seen since Tresco.

    England ODI Team

Before I start this, I'm going to make this post before I read any of the other posts properly (helps keep it my own idea). I'll read through afterwards so don't ridicule me if I repeat any players that have been heavily discussed already. Anyway, this is my team, without Strauss as captain...

England vs Australia - an ODI series too far?

There's a good reason for that - we're not very good... The sheduling issue isn't going to stop unfortunatly. While the rewards keep increasing for hosting more and more games in the calendar year - the more and more games were going to pack into a finite space. Unfortunatly I fear that until...

Trouble in the English camp : Pietersen Vs Moores!?

We'll I'm hoping we can land Tom Moody. It's difficult on how you read between the lines from what he said. His comments: 1) It could mean any number of things. I don't think its a flat out denial - because if he wanted it to be - he could have said "I don't want the job". 2) In his defence...

Trouble in the English camp : Pietersen Vs Moores!?

I might be contraversial in saying this, but am I the only one who thinks that Pietersen saved us from 1-2 more years (atleast) of underachievement under Moores. We've stagnated pretty much none stop since Moores took over - maybe Pietersen - in loosing his own job, has saved English cricket...

Trouble in the English camp : Pietersen Vs Moores!?

So the contenders - in all their shapes and forms. Darren Lehmann Duncan Fletcher Graham Ford Tom Moody Shane Warne Ashley Giles / Andy Flower Its an interesting list. Me personally I wouldn't want Giles or Flower. I don't think Giles has had experience as a coach long enough to be...

Trouble in the English camp : Pietersen Vs Moores!?

Strauss is One Day Captain for the West Indies tour - Guardian Cricket No interim coach - so are there only 3 selectors?

Trouble in the English camp : Pietersen Vs Moores!?

I think the main thing that was going against Strauss, was that the selectors/coach wanted one captain for all forms of the game again. And (as the situation still is) Strauss wasn't in the one day line-up. It was one of the reasons that Pietersen was the front runner was that there wasn't...
