    Okay so I think it’s clear Linde has lost a step with the ball. I was also surprised at how well Muthusamy bowled except for the last few balls of his spell. I didn’t think he was that crafty.

    My only concern is that if there is a pitch with even a little bit in it then I can’t see him doing that well but damn you can see his game is built around hitting big.

    I just stopped comparing T20 and the other formats in terms of players and strategies and I enjoy it more now. It’s a game where someone like Tim David is equally as valuable as a Steve Smith and that is still a wild thought.

    I think the thing is that Linde is actually one of our best T20 hitters even if you disregard his bowling.

    Maxwell has about three shots to every ball and he isn’t one of those cricketers who you judge on stats but I think with his talent he could have averaged 45+ in ODIs and still struck at over 100.
