    It's similar to when you hear the suggestion that many of the pro KP camp want Cook to fail and England to lose. I don't think there can be many on either side of the fence that would want England to lose just because of the players in the team... Surely?

    Exactly, it's one thing making runs against the pop gun bowling attacks of Sri Lanka and India but against the Aussies it's a whole different ball game. I would rather take someone who has a proven track record against them myself. They will find a place for him if he scores county runs.
