    Armchair Cricket PC Game

Thanks for the feedback. Albeit a little late, there are plans to finish this, sorting out a lot of the issues that have been mentioned. Hopefully I will come back here and let everybody see a much more advanced beta in the not too distant future. The plan is to make an android app and a 4...

    *Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

Well we shall see. But id have money on him scoring good 20s and 30s and then getting out, especially during the world cup on the slower pitches.

    *Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

I mean stubborn in the sense england always pick a keeper to open. I wouldnt even have davies in the side at all, but there are plenty of guys who could open better than him in england. Edit.. to clarify, I mean they pick a keeper to open, rather than their best opener, to open up slots below I...

    *Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

The answer would be to open with bell and strauss and drop davies down to 7. There's no reason why you have to have a keeper opening, just stubborn selectors. Either that or give morgan the gloves. I think collingwood could get through 10 against this side. And youve got kp to get through a few...

    *Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

I think it's worrying when the best bowler was the guy coming back from injury whos coming to the end of his career. Lee looked like an internaional cricketer. The others looked very average. If this is some of the new talent coming through, Id be very concerned about australias next 5 years...

Three horse race to be the best team in the world?

I think I generally agree on the engsafind Cook Sehwag Kallis Tendulkar Amla Laxman Prior Steyn Swann Anderson Zaheer / Morkel I think Dhoni is massively overrated so Id go with prior, excellent form as a keeper and a bat in the last few years. Rest Tamim Gayle Sanga Chanderpaul Hussey Ryder...

    *Official* Zimbabwe in West Indies

The commentators made more of a fuss than needed. It was dead straight and theres no way anything is bouncing over the top on this pitch. When you see it side on it looks like its hitting 3/4 of the way up. Good decision.

He didnt really go through with the shot once he realised it wasnt there for the cut. The bat didnt go through the strike zone so to speak. He just dropped his hands and got the pad in the way. I think its perfectly reasonable to give him for no shot.

Could argue there was no shot played. His bat was behind the pad and a long way from the ball, though you might say it was just the fact he was outwitted by the ball. Comes down to the interpretation of the 'no shot' law imo.

Looking for a new club captain/coach

Hi, My club's first team captain moved away at the end of this season and we are therefore looking around for a new player/coach for next year. I thought maybe there would be people here looking for a new club. We play in the SNEL (essex, uk) league and have 4 league sides. Our problem is that...
