    Next World T20???

I would like to see a reduction in the ODI world cup to 12 teams and an expansion to 16 in T20. The T20 should be the vehicle for global eapansion. A few one-sided matches in T20 are much more bearable than in ODI.

Will 'Roy' and Yuvraj crack the top level?

I think Symonds will finally crack the test level. He finally began to show signs of doing that against England and even in ODI cricket, he is much more 'play to the situation' player these days rather than the gung-ho attitude we saw of him in the past. He does not throw his wicket away easily...

Hayden the best bat since this century?

I think we can agree that scoring qucikly is always better than scoring slowly. This is one of the reasons why Australia win so many matches and very few draws. In fact, tesct criket in general gets more results because players tend to play faster these days.

Hayden the best bat since this century?

I agree. He only seems to get better. He is not an FTB (as some would have you believe). He scores runs everywhere. I think he could well play till he is around 39-40 for Australia. No other Aussie domestic opener comes close. So why replace him...

Hayden the best bat since this century?

Its much easier to play yourself in when the ball has gotten a bit older and the pressure is less intense as is the case for middle order batsmen in general.

Hayden the best bat since this century?

Thanks! I think you will find openers tend to have a lower average than middle order batters throughout criket history (in general with few exceptions).

Hayden the best bat since this century?

I know, but he hasn't had the same impact as Hayden has in putting Australia in such commanding positions on so many ocassions. I put Dravid and LKallis in similar bracket. They area notch below the likes of Hayden and Ponting.

Hayden the best bat since this century?

Yes, I mean this century (since 2000). Its not just his runs but he is so dominant and put Australia in such commanding positions on so many ocassions, especially the big ocassions like big test series' , world cups, etc. I think Gilly aslo has a case because he turned so many matches with his...

    biggest six ever hit?

I think Keith Miller sixes at Lords, Toom Moody's six in the '99 world cup also at Lords and Lance Cairns have all hit some of the biggest ever.

Hayden the best bat since this century?

He has a very strong case along with Ponting. I think Hayden, being an opener, slightly tilts it in his favour because its always the most difficult postion to bat because of the early morning conditions.
