That was a yorker so theoretically you could be prepared to block it but Donalds ball came in a ridiculous amount, nobody could be expected to adjust to it.

Tough to lose games when you are churning out hundreds and double hundreds for fun. But how did you know that Bradman was one of the finest tactical brains?

Had excellent game reading skills and absolute winners mentality. For tactical side, let me give you an example. It was a match against India and it rained heavily, turning the pitch to a horrible sticky. Bradman reversed the batting order, so by the time the tail got cleaned the pitch improved and Australia scored well.
