1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Rahul is lowkey the weirdest player. Such a poor record overseas but he so consistently looks a class above when it comes to batting in tough conditions against fast bowlers.

Probably doesn't speak well to his mental game and prep tbh.
He has 5 hundreds in sena. Wtf are you smoking

India should be really happy with that session. They toughed out a decent period but are easily ahead now, I think.
They are ahead, and now is their opportunity to press on for victory. But they're not showing much intent yet....

And where the **** is first slip????

If India score more than 250, they will probably win. This pitch is doing enough that in the fourth innings, batting will be real tough.
It's still enough of a road that if England bats sensibly they will win as long as it's sub 350, granted that is a big if considering Jamie and Harry literally didn't have functioning brains in the first inning.

Can't believe they didn't have the slip in place. Pant and Lokesh have been lucky today. England have been a lot more accurate and the ball is doing more.

Hope we bat out the day somehow

I don't get the point of people like Bashir and Jadeja, you just know they won't take wickets, you also know they won't exactly even make chances for a great catch, what's the point of their existence?

Pant's record against England being so much better than his record against Aus feels weird given how large he's loomed over every game he's been involved in against us

EDIT: Though his average is actually identical, which makes sense
