Its always interesting to me how people claim bowlers are more important yet on many lists, top batsmen will often outrank top bowlers. I know all the reasons why, but its just…interesting

Personally, It's because Great batsmen just play much longer than Great bowlers. On skill, most will have Marshall over or at worst equal to SRT. But one played for 24 years and another 13 with 9 as an automatic choice. And it generally reflects on their rankings.
