Does Bethell get a winner’s medal if RCB break their duck?
Deserves one more than Livingstone despite having played 7 games less.

LL has scored 87 runs in 9 innings and 54 came in one of them!! He has 2 wickets to go with this impressive run haul too.

Phi Salt on the other hand has been a more than useful addition and I'm wondering if anyone has won the IPL in consecutive seasons with different teams before?

Hazelwood's reinvention as a top tier T20 bowler is remarkable given he seems the most "test" bowler you can think of, meticulously hitting line and length perfectly.
I think it's just a reminder that you can over complicate things at times in T20's and often a bit of movement around off stump is all you need. Ollie Robinson is doing similar for Sussex in the Blast too (including last night).

Whatever it takes!!!
I guess its amazing how long it took CSK to figure their best combination was to have Conway opening and Dube at 4. I dont mind Rutu batting at 3 when we have someone like Mhatre who is an obvious natural opener but otherwise, Rutu should have opened everytime. But I am liking the setup of the side for next year. Hopefully Pathirana can find some form again and his rhythm.

Conway
Mhatre
Rutu
Dube
Brevis
Jaddu
Dhoni / Urvil Patel (wk)
Ashwin
Kambhoj
Noor
Pathirana

If they can plug the only gap with some bowling allrounder (ideally left arm) who can bat 8 and bowl some overs, this team would be set.

Hard to stop Iyer once he gets into six-hitting form. Boult getting slammed, Bumrah off the boil. All pointing towards a first-time IPL winner.

Iyer's knock has to rank as one of the best chase innings in IPL knockout history. Those sixes were of course brutally decisive but that four off a Bumrah yorker has to be one of the most amazing shots I have ever seen in a high pressure chase.

amazing nerve from KXIP to bring that back after yet again an underwhelming bowling performance. However, in the final, I don't think their bowling is gonna cut it.
