Semi-Final #2- New Zealand v South Africa- Wednesday, March 5th- Lahore

Moss

International Captain
It's absolutely quality from Henry and Jamieson so far
Good new ball bowling for the most part though they'll want another wicket to show for it. Little margin for error clearly, with boundaries coming every time Henry has even slightly missed his line and length.

That stat given by Simon Doull on Bavuma is quite damning regarding tournament performances. I guess he is next to be blocked by Firdose
Compared with Rachin, who has 5 tons in 13 ICC 50-over innings, I think the stat was. Insane

Smithy gives it the 'straight up' treatment for a pull that goes flat for a 72m six. Leave that stuff to Sumo, big man

In Smith's defense, he rides an emotional rollercoaster with us and probably wanted it to be 'straight up'

Don't write off Bavuma, he is getting going now and seems to have some support in the crowd too.

Bavuma hate here a bit much. Kane started slowly too and he didn't have to face the brand new ball. Maxwell Head was something like 1(11) in yesterday's SF too before catching up.

Not saying that Temba is in the same league as those two for ODIs, but this isn't T20, you're allowed to take stock.

I didnt see it but it sounds a bit unfair to be honest , he's only played one ODI Tournament in his entire career before this CT , imagine if you judged Joe Root on the 2023 WC alone ..

Bit of an unnecessary cheap shot from Doull.

That's not uncommon for Doull. He loves a cheap shot to an easy target

Pace on doesn't look the go here, not sure O'Rourke bowling 10 is the ideal outcome

You can't have all T20 sloggers in an ODI team, you need some smart test quality batsmen like Williamson and Bavuma to hold the innings together.
