flat decks, slow wickets, dry wickets. Easy pitches for batting.UAE is kind of his home ground. No reason to not count that.
I may have sounded rude but not that I don’t rate YK high, just that his stats flatter a bit.

Tbf to him, he atleast scored against Top 6 teams at home, unlike Smithflat decks, slow wickets, dry wickets. Easy pitches for batting.

Yea but he probably would have struggled against the top 6 teams if his home conditions were like SA’sTbf to him, he atleast scored against Top 6 teams at home, unlike Smith
Yeah, but he had as much as Smith?? Or how would Smith do in Asian turners???Yea but he probably would have struggled against the top 6 teams if his home conditions were like SA’s
uae are not Asian turners except a few occasionally. Mostly flat decks and not much in it for seamers either.Yeah, but he had as much as Smith?? Or how would Smith do in Asian turners???
It's also a place where Smith averages over 70, and Asia is a continent where he averages more than ROW, and much more than RSA. He'd be fine.uae are not Asian turners except a few occasionally. Mostly flat decks and not much in it for seamers either.
I just made it close by switching my vote. I'm about to switch it again.Very close
Younis is probably the best batsman in Asia Everuae are not Asian turners except a few occasionally. Mostly flat decks and not much in it for seamers either.
Sehwag, Jayawardene, Gavaskar and Tendulkar are ahead I think.Younis is probably the best batsman in Asia Ever
I would place all 5 together. To choose: Sehwag, Younis, Tendulkar, Gavaskar, JayawardeneSehwag, Jayawardene, Gavaskar and Tendulkar are ahead I think.
Jayawardene was a beast on rank turners. Look at his record in Galle.I would place all 5 together. To choose: Sehwag, Younis, Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Jayawardene

Their home conditions aren't completely comparable. Smith wouldn't be as dominant as Younis in UAE but he would do well there and Younis would struggle more in SA.Tbf to him, he atleast scored against Top 6 teams at home, unlike Smith
His record in Pakistan isn't Great and is actually sub 30 in UAEJayawardene was a beast on rank turners. Look at his record in Galle.
Nah, Younis has no weakness in Asia. Mahela is mid in Pakistan and poor in UAE. Gavaskar was poor in SL. Tendulkar mid in Pakistan. Sehwag poor in Bangladesh. Younis’ SL record isn’t great, but its pretty good.Sehwag, Jayawardene, Gavaskar and Tendulkar are ahead I think.
Probs, but Smith averages 34 against the Top 6 teams at home and 25 vs Australia. That's really poor for a Top tier opener unless you are playing all at stickies.Their home conditions aren't completely comparable. Smith wouldn't be as dominant as Younis in UAE but he would do well there and Younis would struggle more in SA.
who tf cares about BangladeshNah, Younis has no weakness in Asia. Mahela is mid in Pakistan and poor in UAE. Gavaskar was poor in SL. Tendulkar mid in Pakistan. Sehwag poor in Bangladesh. Younis’ SL record isn’t great, but its pretty good.
Mahela struggled v Ajmal, who Younis didn't have to face. I'd take Mahela on a rank turner.Nah, Younis has no weakness in Asia. Mahela is mid in Pakistan and poor in UAE. Gavaskar was poor in SL. Tendulkar mid in Pakistan. Sehwag poor in Bangladesh. Younis’ SL record isn’t great, but its pretty good.
