The fact is konstas has some role in. Australian victory's in Melbourne and sydney
Like..... Who in their right mind ever denied that!!??? That wasn't the question here. Subz said Konstas' that innings changed the course of the series (or some ****), to which I objected. It was a good innings, but neither series changing nor it broke down Bumrah.

Yeah, Crawley will break down Bumrah up top

Yeah I don't went to get bogged down by the debate on the innings impact. The point is Konstas approach did affected the innings momentum and messed with the main bowlers approach. Viv was like that X 100.

You won't get that with an accumulator.
Again no. Dear god, the myth of Viv Richards has certainly been blown out of proportion. This is now bordering Mohammed Zahid bowling at 170 kph theory.

I said it was a seminal moment in the series which it felt like at the time as it allowed Australia to gain what seemed a distinct advantage.

Obviously not literal, exaggeration for comparing him to Konstas. Sheesh.

No. The exaggeration here is about a presumption that Viv operated in one gear only. He was aggressive against pace but it was controlled aggression with textbook shots without being reckless.
Of course I don't disagree with that. He wasnt Sehwag.

Mate konstas biltz took Australia to 90 runs in no time. If macsweeny was there it would have been 40-1 and aus would made just over 350 and who knows ind might have won the match. It was konstas who was difference
it's hard to know if it made the difference. I remember Sehwag scored a run a ball double hundred in SL and India still lost the test match.

This is my problem with Kohli now. Outside SA and home, not really dominant anywhere.
Like have you seen the majority of countries Root (atleast have NZ and SA, though Kohli better in the latter) and especially Williamson averages 50+??? UAE, Pakistan, WI, SL, Bang, Zim..... Ofcourse it's a shame he now averages sub 50 in both Australia and SA (the latter isn't deserved) and you could argue he didn't bashed these teams, but not like not scoring against them was the problem really.

Kohli's problem is not pronounced with checklist analysis, especially accounting for weak sides, it's that he has been the truest utterest **** over 5 years and runs he scored before being well distributed manages to maintain his record to a decent degree in most places.

I think subs is comparing to ATGs from past eras, not the Fab 4 (he only rates Smith as an ATG from the fab 4). Compared to past ATGs, Kohli is underwhelming away from home.
