Three geniuses on the field. Pick the better all rounder of the three.

All three tick up the definition of genuine all rounders. Jack of all trades, master of none? Atleast in fielding, they were undoubtedly masters. Go ahead, the battlefield is open for all the debates.

Jadeja is a better batsman and bowler than Kapil Dev in tests. This competition is between Jadeja and Botham. Both are good in both batting and bowling.

Remember, Botham failed big time vs the best team of that era. That can't be ignored while rating him. It was pretty awful record with both bat and bowl, a rare but massive blemish to find in the resume of a great all rounder.

Dev is an attacking batsman. Ended with average of 31 at strike rate of 94. Great record vs Windies, the best team of his era.

In bowling, he has longevity on his side with 434 wickets which no Indian pacer seem to be able to reach till now or in near future.

Don't necessarily disagree and personally I prefer Dev's bowling; but he also failed pretty hard against England and New Zealand.

Kapil. He bowled on Indian pitches, he did well as an attacking batsman. He generally did well against the best team of the era.

You can spin Botham vs Kapil however you want but their numbers are statistically very similar and Kapil qualitatively has a better record against the Windies which matters
