2 days to go and declaration talk from the comms. Bat hard in the morning then give the openers 30 to 45 mins to navigate.

Ffs clarke denying Smith another ton. What's the point? An extra day on the beach. Seriously.

lead of 391, giving yourself over 2 days to bowl out opposition. If it's gonna take you 2 days then they'll make more than 391 anyway. Silly declaration unless you're worried about rain. Giving the bowlers another night's rest wouldn't have hurt either.

If they take 2 or 3 quick wickets tonight though I may change my tune

I'm not worried about WI actually chasing this at all, but we could have used more batting for its own sake...

You probably could've batted on to tomorrow and still had day 5 on the beach and golf course. But I guess Clarke got what he wanted with that wicket.

Laughable shot. WI really need to look at the English model of importing players from SA.

Bring back Devon Smith.

Yes he isn't good enough, but at least he may get to 30 now and then.

This is without doubt the worst opening partnership I have seen in test cricket in the last decade.

****e. ****e. ****e.****e.

Who would've thought that picking a specialist batsman without a ton to his name in domestic cricket wouldn't pay off?

I feel for the lad but the WI selectors can take that pair and an uppercut to the bank. Morons.

Think the next series for them is in Australia, imagine him opening in that series?

Seriously bring back Devon, heck these 2 opening down under could be brutal.
