Haha, some good-'uns here, along with plenty of the usual patronising crap from Brumby (and a bit from Voltman).
Ed Giddins - Cocaine by Eric Clapton
Was JJ Cale TBH, though Eric's cover is probably better-known.

Amazed, with all the Mark Vermuelen "fire" jokes that no-one's yet mentioned this, although the fact that the entire song is in jest, unlike Vermuelen's attack on the academy, might be a bit of an impediment there I suppose.

A few that occur to me, mostly based on one-off incidents rather than careers:
Karma Chameleon (Culture Club) for Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Ghostbusters (Ray Parker Jnr.) for Shane Watson - one incident in 2005, and amazed no-one's mentioned it yet
Either Do The Conga (Black Lace) or Do The Locomotion (Little Eva) for Shahid Afridi at Faisalabad in 2005/06
I'm The Leader Of The Gang (Gary Glitter) for Arjuna Ranatunga (among many others)
Tomorrow (Fizzy from Bugsy Malone circa 1976) for Mark Ramprakash
Of the many for Shoaib Akhtar, one more - Trouble (Coldplay)
Desert Rose (Sting and Cheb Mami) for Asif Iqbal (who founded the Sharjah stadium IIRR)
Mr Writer (Stereophonics) could be used for so many cricketers, recently would fit Stephen Harmison who has hit-out at anything and everything written about him
Dancing In The Dark (Bruce Springsteen) has already been mentioned - wrongly IMO, only two people who would fit that, Courtney Browne and Ian Bradshaw in 2004.
Passenger (Iggy Pop) could fit so many - I'd go for Eric Upashantha
Somebody's Watching Me (Rockwell and Michael Jackson) for Darrell Hair
Words (Don't Come Easy) (FR David) for James Anderson
The song probably most befitting the mindset of cricketers at some point though is I Wish It Would Rain Down (Phil Collins)

And I know she's a tennis player not a cricketer, but I've always thought of Papa Don't Preach (Madonna) when reminded of Jelena Dokic's earlier years.
