Won my first game back in the Ranji. Wasn't easy though, and they are probably the worst side bar me.

Bangalore Bonkers 188 all out (49 overs)

Harris - 5/44
Ferrell - 2/39

Boggles 189/6 (44.1 overs)

Abdul kadir 81 (124)
Chanderpaul 35 (49)

Code:
		Boggles Bangalore Bonkers
Top Order: superb ensational
Middle Order: strong competent
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: sensational remarkable
Spin Bowling: wonderful useless
Fielding: feeble feeble
Ratings are OK I guess, would've liked slightly better top order ratings but will have to wait until trainee comes through properly I guess.

Hm. Shafted my way to a win today.

CC of Termination 290 for seven (50 overs)
Price 134, Delop 82; Rock 3/32, Tuck 3/57

Dynamo Morpork 293 for three (49.4 overs)
Herbert 76, Crouch 73 (119), Porter 64*, James 53*; Cheema 2/49

Now admittedly Price and Hussein, who bowled at the death, are allrounders, so they aren't as good as their BTR suggests, but still, making 110 in the last 11 overs by a quality and a remarkable on a green wicket against the two best seamers of the opposition... Meh.

Will take it though.

Secondaries and Stamina get you U19 spots especially in Australia. No one from here will come close tbh.
...

There's no one that good running. I'm actually a bit scared to cast a vote in case I play a hand in installing any one of the candidates as U19 manager. I guess it's either tweek or Butters.

Ah elections. Always seems to be the way that Australia and England get average managers. Only way the other countries can complete IMO.

Actually, although I don't know much about the U19 scene, I know it's a lot more equal than NTs. Since you only need to train players for 2-3 seasons to be competitive, most countries have the user base to sustain a good team. Pretty sure, based purely on strength on paper, the top 4 sides were -
1. England
2. South Africa
3. New Zealand
4. Australia

in that order.

Yeah but South Africa and New Zealand been helped a lot by having some good managers in the past who have put through good training system and programs to get them where they are at now. The programs used by those are something the other countries are trying to follow to catch up.

todays game was well and truly fkd. i'm pretty annoyed with this tbh. the only plausible explaination for this is that he GFI'd, perhaps benefited from the morale boost from playing in round 1 of the cup while i had a bye, but still this doesn't really make much sense to me either. tbh. i think that i'm actually starting to hate battrick.

Whenuapai 58ao (12.5 overs)
Duggan 33

happy happy joy joy 1/62
Sweeney 1/19

the ratings make dechypering the result even more perplexing. i mean, what the ****?
