gonna try and actually follow this this season...after getting promoted the season before last in OD, i neglected to set orders or change my team for any FC games last year...resulting in a double relegation(think i lost all my OD games despite there being clearly inferior teams in my league) and all my top players being knackered, some of my batsmen did enjoy some big knocks though. Didn't change training so my team has pretty much gone backwards.

Should perform a bit better this year being in lower leagues and if i sort my orders out.

The basis of my side is

Adbul Kadir (wonderful/exep bat, strong/rem bowl)
Howell(qual/wonderful bat, wonderful keeping)

Islam(wonderful/masterful bowl)
Norris(exceptional/quality bowl)
Pearce(wonderful/expectional bowl)

Clearly need to do something about my batting, need 2/3 decent players in for Webster, Lawrence and Magloire. Also need some back up bowlers to allow me to rest some of my first 5. Have about 5.75 mill in the bank but the transfer market seems pretty pricey at the moment, was thinking of getting a couple of young batters to train up...any ideas?

Bleh @ my first OD Fixture. Playing the team that was demoted from Div III last year so I'm pondering whether I should GFI or not. FC will be a breeze for me though, Div V ftw.

If you give him two batting and two bowling he should be at least respectable in both forms by the end of the season. At that rate though, he wouldn't hit superb until he's 19 and if you're looking for a long term player, I'd say you'd be better off selling the guy. Depends on the rest of your team, of course.
