How did they decide i had a higher run rate?

Well in 50 over games, ICC 2002 used the highest score after the first 15 that takes it in the event of a tie (I was screwed over by that once. I was angry) - so maybe it was the highest score after six?

a that would explain it - i was 50-3 after six they were 37-0

It has happened to me twice, and what I figured was that I bowled more extras in no balls OR wides to them than they did to me, so I figured they used that, ie. With me bowling more extras, they faced more balls than me.

But i guess it was just a co-incidence.
