My first 2007 World Cup I got knocked out in the first stage by Bangladesh. Was shattered.
I won the 2007 World Cup later with India in another game thankfully. Lost 2 matches during the super 8 phase though, which made it a very close tournament. Lost two close games to the WI and NZ, and those were the teams I beat in the semi-final (NZ) and final (WI) to win the WC.
Ironically Australia, who are ranked #1 in the 2007 WC, had a pretty poor tournament. Knocked out in the super 8 phase.
