problem with icc2002

hi ive just installed icc2002 on a new xp computer and the installation went fine no problems there but after the coin toss and once you have decided wether to bat or bowl first the "initialising the game" sign comes on to the screen and it stays there. if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. thankz
